Evolution Proof

One of the main arguments of creationists is that a process of Random modifications and Tests of acceptance (ie. gene mutations and natural selection) could not possibly lead to emergence of complex, uniform and repeatable forms.

Roger Alsing created a program that paints a set of 50 semi transparent polygons based on a continuous set of parameters (reminiscent of a DNA chain). Next he created a program that randomly modifies this DNA-like set, paints a picture based on it and compares the effect to the desired result (best fit to environment).

After 100k generations he got a picture of… see for yourself.

I think, that evolution only can do copy (more or less accurate). So where is prototype of living creatures? :)

  2. Tomasz Sterna says

“Only copy” is not evolution. The main principle of evolution is change. Random change, so there is no prototype because there is no design in evolution.
