On Saturday we finally migrated last services from the old machines that were running Chrome.pl for the last few years, and this night I finally shut them down.
These weren’t a real machines but OpenVZ guests from the beginning of the year, nevertheless this ends an epoch… of running Chrome on self assembled PC machines. ;-) I don’t have this personal feeling to the new Dell 1U servers that are running the show today. But they are much, much, much more reliable, as the Chrome.pl hosted domains users may tell by the stability of the service last year. New servers are running at ~5% of load, so it gives plenty of room to expand in the future.
