<blockquote>We do this to [...] scratch the itch</blockquote>
++.
<blockquote>It’s pity though that GP2X and Pandora developers do not share the habit of sharing the (even GPLed) source alongside with binaries</blockquote>
Fully agreed :) In fact, there's this whole "cool demo video goes before the source" thinking that I would expect from a propietary device but not from a free one, and which I guess caused this week's flamewar on gp2x boards.

Thankfully, the situation is not as bad as in Android, Pre worlds where GPL violations are rampant.

[...] As you may have noticed, we have installed php-cgi, that is because we will be running a FastCGI interface. There are some articles online which recommend using lighttpd for its FastCGI interface, this is totally not needed. PHP has its own FastCGI interface which works perfectly well (thanks to Tomasz Sterna for a great article on FastCGI with Nginx) [...]

CLI stands for Command Line Interface, so you are absolutely right, that this is "a command interface".

Tomasz, I found your article very useful having come from an article which recommended the use of lighttpd spawn-cgi ... for some reason I was getting 502 bad gateway errors after prolonged use of the nginx+php server (not quite sure why yet) ... Can you expand on the CHILDREN and REQUESTS vars and their implications on memory usage, what should the laymen be aware of. Thanks a lot!

[...] PSX4M - PSX Emulator for Nokia N900 (Maemo5) I finally released first part of my new Playstation emulator for Maemo. It's based on updated source of PSX4ALL by ZodTTD and incorporates Maemo specific backends written by me. It uses new PulseAudio sound backend and HAA display scaling PSX native resolutions to 640x480 for N900 display (so it keeps correct aspect ratio). The new concept for the emulator fully utilizes Maemo osso-games-startup frontend with standalone CLI psx4m worker binary. And the first part of this combo is out: maemo.org - package overview for PSX4M My blog post about the release: PSX4M is finally out | Aberration [...]

I don't have Maemo4 device to test the port.
But this one should work fine. Just find someone with Maemo4 SDK to recompile the source.
